Welcome
We are enrolling new patients
We would love to welcome you to our practice and we look forward to meeting you and your family. Your first visit as a new patient will be 15 minutes with the Nurse, followed by a ½ hour appointment with the Doctor.
How to enrol
To register with our practice please email us at admin@krmc.co.nz with your name and address and the Doctor you would like to enrol with, we will then send you an on-line enrolment form to complete.
The Doctors currently accepting new patients are:
Dr Nick Buist
Dr Gareth Roberts
Dr Bessie Harrop
Dr Jess Arcus
Dr Melissa Hunter
PLEASE NOTE:
First appointments attract a higher consultation fee.
No appointments can be made prior to us receiving your notes from your previous GP. This can take up to 10 working days.
You will be contacted by us (via text) to book your first appointment once your notes have been received
Every person over the age of 16 is required to complete their own enrolment form.
You can only be enrolled at one practice. If you enrol at another practice we will no longer receive a government subsidy for you and your fees will increase to that of a casual patient.
If you are not an NZ citizen you may not be eligible for government subsidised care. However, non-eligible patients are able to register and access full medical care for an unsubsidised fee. See our Fees page for more details on consultation rates.
To be eligible for enrolment/subsidised care you must meet one of the criteria listed on the back of the enrolment page. You can also find the criteria at the Ministry of Health website – if you are not an NZ citizen, we recommend that you read this as you may still be eligible.
If you are an NZ citizen (including Cook Islands, Niue or Tokelau) to enrol at our practice and receive subsidised consultations, you must provide us with a valid form of ID for enrolment such as:
· your New Zealand passport OR
· your New Zealand Birth Certificate (or Cook Island, Niue or Tokelau birth certificate) AND two forms of proof that you are the person on the birth certificate
Examples of other identity documents include:
· a driver licence
· an 18+ card
· a Community Services Card or Super Gold Card
· a School/Tertiary ID Card
