Dr Martine Gerritsen

Martine was born, raised and trained as a GP in the Netherlands. She moved to New Zealand in February 2020. Martine works at KRMC Wednesday to Friday. Her special areas of interest are minor surgery, musculoskeletal injections and long-acting reversible contraception. Outside of work she enjoys motor biking, boating, camping and playing the guitar.

Dr Gareth Roberts

Gareth was born in NZ, graduating Auckland University Medical School in 2014. He obtained his fellowship in General Practice in 2022.   Gareth has broad clinical interests and likes variety in his work.    He is available for consultations on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Dr Nick Buist

Nick graduated from the University of Auckland in 2015. He has worked in a variety of specialties before moving to general practice in 2022. He is interested in all areas of general practice but has additional experience in acute care and skin cancer medicine. Outside of work he enjoys a variety of sports and playing guitar (badly). Nick lives on the North Shore with his wife and two young daughters. 

Dr. Jessica Arcus

Jessica joined us in February 2021, prior to this she was working as a GP in the sunny Hawkes Bay, her home town.    Jess graduated from the University of Auckland in 2016 and is currently working towards obtaining fellowship with the NZ College of General Practitioners.  Prior to becoming a Doctor, Jess was a nurse at Starship Hospital.    Jess has a special interest in children and is available for appointments Tuesday to Thursday. Outside of work Jess enjoys an active lifestyle - running and dancing.

Dr Melissa Hunter

Melissa graduated from the University of Auckland in 2014 and she has obtained Fellowship with the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. Melissa is happy to see any problem and age group, but particularly enjoys working with children and young adults. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys reading and spending time at the beach.

Dr Vanessa Fardon

Vanessa completed her medical degree at St Mary’s Hospital in London in 1984 and has been at Kitchener Road Medical Centre since 1990, as a Principal Partner. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, especially Women’s Health. Outside of work Vanessa enjoys skiing, walking and cooking.

Dr Denise Watt

Denise graduated from the University of Auckland in 1983, then went on to do a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioner. She covers all areas of general practice but has a particular interest in women’s health. Her interests including dancing (Ceroc and Scottish Country), crosswords and spending time with her 2 daughters.

Dr Maggie Wanty

Maggie graduated from Otago University in 1981, having done all her clinical training in Wellington.   Maggie is happy to see any problems as she enjoys all aspects of General Practice.   Maggie has been at Kitchener Road Medical Centre since 1995.
